Eligible upgrades include: Improving insulation, upgrading windows and doors, installing high-efficiency heating systems, and adopting renewable energy technologies.

Offered by various provinces. Eligible upgrades include: Insulation improvements, heating system upgrades, and the installation of energy-efficient appliances.

Homes that will Qualify:
Homeowners must provide proof of ownership and show that the home is their primary residence to qualify.
> Enbridge Gas Customers
> Off-Grid Communities
> Multi-Residential Buildings
> Non-Enbridge Gas Customers
> Enbridge Gas Customers with Tenants
Homes that DO NOT Qualify
Homes not space-heated by Enbridge Gas, where the owner is not the primary resident (rental units) or multi-unit residential buildings (MURB) with more than 3 storeys or larger than 600 m2.
Homes built less than 6 months ago.
Mixed use buildings where less than 50 percent of the building is residential living space.
Homes that have already gone through the Home Efficiency Rebate Plus (HER+) or Canada Greener Homes Grant (CGHG) programs and maxed out their incentive at $10,000 for Enbridge space-heated customers, and $5,000 for non-Enbridge customers.
Homes that have already started work on the upgrades before they conduct their pre-retrofit energy assessment.

HOW THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORKS:
1. Call and Schedule a Home Assessment
Contact a certified Registered Energy Advisor to book an initial home energy assessment. Upon completing the questionnaire on the Enbridge site to find out if you’re eligible, or visiting our HER+ webpage, you’ll receive a comprehensive list of recommendations.
2. Get Your Custom Report
After the assessment has been successfully carried out, the Registered Energy Advisor will provide a custom report with recommended upgrades for your home.
3. Complete Your Upgrade
You must complete at least one eligible upgrade at this time.
4. Schedule a Follow-Up Assessment
Schedule a follow-up home energy assessment to ensure everything is adequate in your space.
5. Receive Your Rebate!
Receive your rebate cheque, including up to $600 for the assessments and be on your merry way!
